Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen
The perfect first fountain pen — and a beloved go-to for veterans. The Platinum Preppy is one of the most recommended beginner fountain pens in the world, and for good reason: it's affordable, reliable, smooth, and available in a fun range of colors and nib sizes. But don't let the price fool you — the Preppy punches well above its weight class.
With a snap cap that creates an airtight seal, the Preppy keeps the nib from drying out and is always ready to write. It accepts standard international cartridges or can be converted to use bottled ink with an optional Platinum converter.
