Platinum Prefounte Fountain Pen

The next step up from your first pen. The Platinum Prefounte is designed for adults who are new to fountain pens but want something that feels a little more refined — a pen that takes the writing experience seriously without the intimidating price tag.

Featuring a transparent resin body with a sleek matte finish, the Prefounte is elegant in hand and a pleasure to write with. The smooth stainless steel nib glides across the page, and Platinum’s patented Slip & Seal cap mechanism keeps the nib from drying out for up to a year — even when left uncapped. No more dried-out nibs, no maintenance anxiety.
