J. Herbin Emeraude de Chivor (Emerald of Chivor) - 1670 Anniversary Ink w/ Gold Shimmer

One of the most celebrated inks in the fountain pen world, Emeraude de Chivor — Emerald of Chivor — is named for the legendary Colombian emerald mines. The 1670 Anniversary formula adds fine gold shimmer particles and a red sheen to a deep teal-green base, producing writing that shifts and glimmers depending on the angle of the light.

It’s the kind of ink that makes even ordinary notes feel like something worth keeping. Particularly striking on smooth paper with a broader nib or glass dip pen, where the gold shimmer has full room to settle.

Shake gently before use. As with all shimmer inks, occasional cleaning of the pen is recommended to prevent particle buildup.
